Terms of Service for Green Essence Cleaning

Welcome to Green Essence Cleaning (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our cleaning services, you (“Client,” “you,” “your”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully, as they constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Green Essence Cleaning.

1. Services Provided

Green Essence Cleaning provides residential and commercial cleaning services. The scope of services, including the type, frequency, and special requests, will be confirmed at the time of booking. We aim to deliver services as outlined, but specific results may vary depending on the condition of the premises and other factors.

  • We do not guarantee perfect or spotless results in every instance but strive to meet the high standards of our clients.
  • Any special services or add-ons not initially agreed upon will incur additional charges and must be arranged before the cleaning appointment.

2. Bookings and Cancellations

Booking Policy:

  • You may schedule services through our website, by phone at 562-231-6101, or via email at sales@greenessencecleaning.net.
  • All bookings are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to modify scheduled appointments due to unforeseen events, including staff availability or emergencies.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:

  • You may cancel or reschedule your appointment by providing at least 24 hours’ notice before your scheduled service.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
  • If our cleaning team arrives at the scheduled location but cannot gain access to the property (e.g., locked doors, no key provided), the $50 cancellation fee will apply, and service may be rescheduled at our discretion.

3. Payments

  • Payment is due upon the completion of the cleaning service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and other methods specified at the time of booking.
  • You authorize us to charge the provided payment method for the agreed-upon rate, including any applicable fees such as the $50 cancellation fee, taxes, or charges for additional services.
  • If payment is not made on the due date, late fees or interest may be applied in accordance with applicable laws.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for providing our team with safe access to your property, including keys, security codes, and clear instructions for entry.
  • You are required to ensure that all potentially hazardous areas or situations (e.g., exposed wiring, unstable furniture) are addressed before the cleaning service begins.
  • Green Essence Cleaning is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions or faulty infrastructure in your property (e.g., loose fixtures, faulty appliances).

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

We strive for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning appointment. We will make reasonable efforts to address any concerns, which may include offering a re-clean of the affected area(s) at no additional cost.

6. Damage and Liability

  • We exercise utmost care during the cleaning process. If any damage occurs due to the negligence of our cleaning staff, you must notify us within 24 hours of the service.
  • Our liability for damages is limited to the replacement or repair of the affected item(s), up to a maximum of $500. Green Essence Cleaning is not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by the use of cleaning products provided by the client.
  • Green Essence Cleaning is not responsible for the repair or replacement of items that are damaged due to pre-existing conditions.

7. Use of Client Property

By engaging our services, you consent to the reasonable use of your utilities (water, electricity) and equipment (if needed) to perform the cleaning service. You also agree to provide a safe environment for our staff.

8. Termination of Service

Green Essence Cleaning reserves the right to terminate or suspend services at any time, including but not limited to cases of:

  • Client misconduct or unsafe conditions at the property
  • Non-payment of service fees
  • Repeated cancellations or schedule changes

You may terminate any ongoing service agreement by providing written notice at least 48 hours before your next scheduled appointment.

9. Changes to Terms

Green Essence Cleaning reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website, and the Effective Date will be adjusted accordingly. Continued use of our services after changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Privacy

Your use of our services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the terms of the Privacy Policy.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between you and Green Essence Cleaning arising from or related to these Terms or our services, we encourage amicable resolution through direct communication. If the dispute cannot be resolved through good faith negotiation, it will be submitted to binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California. The prevailing party may be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
